Michael Bizzaro is honored and excited to be directing Foundry and The Choral Forge
Michael has over a decade of experience as a middle and high school choir director including teaching at Fairview High School with Janice Vlachos! While at Fairview he had several groups selected to perform at the CMEA State Conference and won a Bobby G Award for Musical Direction through the DCPA. Additionally, the tenor/bass a cappella choir he started called "The Kingsmen" were selected to perform at the NACC National Championships of High School A Cappella. He has been a sought after adjudicator and choral clinician in several states across the country.
Michael is also an accomplished singer and the bass section leader in Kantorei, a premier vocal ensemble based in Denver, Colorado where their most recent recordings rose to #2 on the iTunes Classical Chart and #4 on the Traditional Billboard Classical Chart.

Michael has Bachelor of Music degrees in Music Education and Music Composition from Ohio Northern University, a Masters of Music degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a Certificate of Advanced Education Leadership from Harvard University.
